3 Facebook Groups features you should start using right away

Some Facebook Groups features are found in pages and profiles as well, but some are exclusive to groups, and in case you’re not using them yet, you should definitely get some info here and try them out right away!

Facebook Groups features sounds like more work, why do you hate me, Shay?

Oh shush, I don’t hate you. Facebook Groups features are just some added possibilities to explore and use to help create a better user experience for your followers.

First off, what are Facebook Groups?

Facebook groups act as a hub for common minded people connect and be able to share thoughts, posts and basically exchange information.

Some of you are probably more familiar with pages and profiles, which have quite a different working method. While profiles are private and belong to a person, he has a choice whether or not to allow other people to see his posts or interact with his page, or even post on his profile.
Pages are a different story, being created by a personality or a business, they represent the news and information shared by said activity.
Posts by followers, if allowed by the page administrator, will appear in a tiny little window called “visitor posts”.

Both entities, however, whether person or business, may create groups.
These groups will also have a list of permissions set by the creator of the group, but usually people are free to join, comment and post.

Which brings me to the point of this post

Facebook Groups have features that appear only there and have very interesting uses actually, so let’s start:

Creating Polls

Opening with the strongest feature, polls is perhaps the best way to measure up your followers. If you remember, in my post about connecting with your audience, I’ve said that one of the best ways to understand what your audience wants you to talk about in your content marketing strategy, was to ask them. As simple as that.
