Oh my! So how do I go about doing that?
What’s going on nowadays with ads is that a brand ad will be most likely ignored (or even blocked) by the common user. Experts call it Admageddon. Does that mean you should stop investing in ads? Not exactly. Just get more creative and make them more sharable. Like a video talking about a feeling or experience, rather than your product directly.
Another way to getting people to talk about you is investing in influencer marketing. I’ll have an article about that soon enough, but for now just consider this: having a [internet] VIP talking about you will get you noticed and will get people think positively about you, thus creating inbound marketing coming from an influencer sending people to you.
While your team could create content or even curate content, having your audience doing that is priceless. Many try to coerce followers to take selfies with their products and share them over their favorite social media, it holds some level of difficulty actually becoming viral.
What a group of Italian 20-something year old’s figured was that people will do stuff if given the right incentive and if they feel part of a community. Enter Friendz, a community based app that basically reinvented the term UGC. With the power of tens of thousands of users generating content instantly with one simple push notification, Friendz have the power to generate immediate buzz and viral hashtags.
